Experience Counter Sales Rep

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to support our trucking company’s parts and service operations. This role is responsible for assisting walk-in and phone customers, identifying and selling heavy-duty truck parts, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the parts counter and over the phone
  




• Identify, price, and sell heavy-duty truck parts and accessories
  




• Look up parts using electronic catalogs and inventory systems
  




• Process sales orders, invoices, and returns accurately
  




• Coordinate with service technicians and warehouse staff
  




• Maintain accurate inventory and counter displays
  




• Provide product recommendations and upsell when appropriate
  




• Ensure a clean, organized, and professional counter area
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• Prior counter sales experience in a trucking or diesel environment
  




• Strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts and components
  




• Excellent customer service and communication skills
  




• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
  




• Proficient with computer systems and parts lookup software
  




• Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
  




• Valid driver’s license required
