EXPERIENCED BARTENDER - TABOR ROAD TAVERN (~$30-$40/hour INCLUSIVE OF TIPS)

TABOR ROAD TAVERN is an elegant, seasonal new American establishment located in Morris Plains. Our décor represents a warm rustic environment with a wood burning fireplace for guests to enjoy a seasonal rotating menu and exclusive cocktails.

General bartender priorities and responsibilities

• To exceed our guests’ exceptions by providing them with the highest level of consistent, professional and courteous service.
• To promote teamwork within the restaurant, creating a positive work environment.
• To properly execute all necessary steps of service.
• Always ensure the highest level of cleanliness and organization.
• Provide exemplary customer service to all guests by applying knowledge of food and beverage menus.
• Reporting on time and in proper uniform, always clocking in and out as required of all employees.
• To respond positively to guests’ requests.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented
• High energy with a keen sense-of-urgency

• Proficient in all aspects of fine dining service.
• Knowledge of food and beverage, as well as having a passion to cultivate these skills.
• Display a confident and professional appearance.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to exert a well-paced mobility for periods up to 6-8 hours per shift, all the while maintaining a fun and positive attitude.
• Must be able to carry about 40lbs.
