Experienced Diesel Technician

Elk Grove Ford, now proudly part of Lithia & Driveway, is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our high-performing service team. If you are a skilled professional with a strong background in diesel engines and a commitment to quality workmanship, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systems
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and advanced diagnostics
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
• Collaborate with service advisors and team members to ensure excellent customer satisfaction
• Stay current with manufacturer training and evolving technologies
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a diesel technician (Ford experience preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• ASE certifications and/or Ford certifications are a plus
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

This is a flat rate position eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation which includes bonuses based on Production Productivity.

The Flat Rate pay range for this position is $34.00 - $62.00.
