Overview
Progress Partners is seeking to hire a Boston-based Experienced Investment Banking Associate to help support its M&A and Capital Markets transactions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, experience with financial statements, financial modeling, and strong communication skills. Prior experience in executing M&A and Capital Markets transactions in Technology verticals is highly preferred.

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, creative, proactive, outgoing, and possess a strong background in finance and accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a core member of deal teams on M&A and capital raising transactions
Take on significant ownership of financial modeling, valuation analysis, and transaction materials
Draft and refine critical deliverables, including CIMs, management presentations, and other materials
Coordinate due diligence processes and manage day-to-day execution workflows
Interact directly with clients, buyers, private equity sponsors, and senior internal stakeholders
Identifies when content and expertise is required from clients and senior members of the team
Participate in the recruitment, development, training, and mentoring of junior resources
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
Prior investment banking experience required; at least 1 year as an Investment Banking Associate
Strong knowledge of M&A and capital raising practices
Advanced knowledge of financial modeling, corporate finance, and accounting
Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills
Exceptional writing, verbal, and computer skills
Ability to handle multiple projects with competing priorities
Demonstrated problem-solving, creative, and strategic thinking skills
Detailed-oriented with strong analytical judgment
High degree of comfort and confidence interacting with senior executives
Strong work ethic and team-oriented approach
Effective leadership and coaching skills
What We Offer
Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 base + annual bonus
