Job Description:
Group 1 Ford of Amarillo is looking for a skilled and dependable Experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team. This role is focused on diagnosing and repairing vehicle transmissions and driveline components to ensure the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on all vehicle systems


• 
  

  Use manufacturer and dealership diagnostic tools effectively

  
  


• 
  

  Execute warranty repairs to Ford specifications

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct road tests and ensure repair accuracy 

  
  


• Support and mentor lower-level technicians


• 
  

  Maintain documentation and service records

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards

  
  

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in an automotive technician role


• Ford Certifications preferred


• 
  

  ASE certifications preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Strong diagnostic and repair skills

  
  


• 
  

  High school diploma or equivalent

  
  


• 
  

  Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent attention to detail and teamwork
