Experienced Technician- Tom Wood Land Rover

Tom Wood Land Rover, located in Indianapolis IN, is currently searching for an Experienced Service Technician to join our team! The ideal technician should have extensive knowledge of automotive systems and components, along with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:  

• Perform accurate and thorough diagnostics to identify vehicle issues.


• Perform complex repairs on engines, transmissions, steering, brakes, suspension, and other systems.


• Ensure all repairs meet or exceed industry standards.


• Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques.


• Achieve customer service satisfaction through prompt and accurate service and communication.


• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times and adhere to all OSHA/EPA requirements.


• Work closely with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow.


• Mentor and provide guidance to junior technicians.


• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:  

• Proven experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, preferably with Land Rover models. 


• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.


• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including electrical, mechanical, and computerized components.


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Strong communication and customer service skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Focused on maintaining a high level of customer service


• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc. a plus


• Required- have a valid driver’s license with a clean record
