Help Children Heal Through Play—Without Sacrificing Your Own Well-Being
At The Community Lighthouse, we believe exceptional therapists deserve meaningful clinical work, flexibility, strong support, and opportunities to continue growing.
We are hiring licensed therapists who are passionate about working with children and families and want to develop their skills in Experiential Play Therapy.
You do not need previous play therapy experience to apply. We provide the training, mentorship, and support needed to help you grow into a confident Experiential Play Therapist.
Why Therapists Choose TCL
Weekend appointments are completely optional and based on therapist preference. They are never required.
Why This Position Is In Person
This is primarily an in-person position because Experiential Play Therapy relies on hands-on activities, movement, creativity, play, and face-to-face connection.
Our therapists work directly with children and families in a therapeutic environment designed to support engagement, emotional expression, and healing. This model cannot be delivered effectively through fully remote care.
What Is Experiential Play Therapy?
Children do not always have the words to explain what they are feeling, but they often communicate naturally through play.
Our therapists use experiential and play-based approaches to help children:
You will receive training and support in working with children and families through trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate, and relationship-focused care.
