Explosion Protection Application Specialist - APAC

Are you a technically minded professional who enjoys solving customer challenges and turning complex applications into practical solutions?

As an Explosion Protection Application Specialist – APAC, you will be the technical link between Fike, our customers, sales partners and subsidiaries across the Asia-Pacific region.

You will understand how customers operate, identify their technical needs and recommend the right explosion protection solution. You will work closely with Sales and Engineering to develop solutions, support projects and help customers get the most from Fike’s products.

This is a hands-on, international role combining technical expertise, customer interaction and business development.

What will you do?

  Analyse customer applications and recommend the right Fike explosion protection solution.

  Provide technical support to customers, distributors and Fike subsidiaries across APAC.

  
  


• 
  

  Translate customer requirements into clear and practical technical solutions.

  
  


• 
  

  Support Sales in developing new business and identifying new applications.

  
  


• 
  

  Work with Engineering on non-standard solutions, product modifications and technical drawings.

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare or review technical drawings using AutoCAD where required.

  
  


• 
  

  Investigate technical issues and coordinate solutions with the relevant internal teams.

  
  


• 
  

  Support customer and sales partner discussions throughout the sales process.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide technical training and product knowledge to sales partners and subsidiaries.

  
  


• 
  

  Travel internationally to customers and sales locations when required.

What do you bring?

• 
  

  Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

  
  


• 
  

  Young grad or relevant experience in engineering, sales, product management, safety, explosion protection or a similar technical environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  
  


• 
  

  Fluent English, both written and spoken.

  
  

A plus: experience with explosion protection, CAD drawings, international customers or distributors, ERP systems and/or additional languages.
