Description

As an Assembly & Test Tech - Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in assembling and testing complex electronic and mechanical components to ensure product quality and reliability. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient production and verification of Honeywell’s advanced technologies.


You will report directly to our ISC Production Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Tempe, AZ location on an on-site work schedule.


In this role, you will impact the manufacturing process by ensuring that products meet rigorous quality standards through precise assembly and thorough testing, directly supporting Honeywell’s commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Perform assembly of electronic and mechanical components following detailed work instructions and blueprints.

  • Conduct functional and environmental testing on assemblies to verify performance and reliability.

  • Identify and document defects or issues, collaborating with engineering teams to resolve problems.

  • Maintain accurate records of test results and assembly processes.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout all assembly and test activities.



Responsibilities

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Proven experience in assembly and testing of electronic or electromechanical products in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of assembly techniques, soldering, wiring, and use of hand tools and test equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions accurately.
  • Experience with functional testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of test results.
  • Familiarity with quality standards and safety protocols in a production setting.

WE VALUE

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in electronics or manufacturing preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant assembly and test experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
