Fabricator

Primary Duty: The primary responsibility is to cut, punch and drill parts to print. You'll also set up and maintain equipment, use hand tools and operate a forklift & overhead crane.

Status: At-will employee, full-time, non-exempt

Supervision: Supervision is by the Shop Manager.

Conditions of Employment: Successful candidates must pass a criminal background check. Candidate must meet the requirements of the full job description throughout the duration of employment with MariCorp U.S. and must follow all policies outlined in the employee handbook.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Reads a tape measure.


2. Ability to interpret shop drawings.


3. Cuts, punches, and drills material precisely.


4. Keeps work area clean.


5. Lifts heavy objects.


6. Operates a forklift and overhead crane.


7. Setup, run, and maintain saw, punch press, and drills.


8. Able to operate various hand tools.


9. Works with Welder Fabricators to determine what parts are needed and when.

• Follow directions.


• Performs other duties, as required by the company.

Other Important Functions:

1. Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences for professional development as necessary.


2. Attends and/or participates in company training.


3. Interacts well with all levels of staff and management.


4. Performs related administrative work as required.

Travel: Work does not involve significant out-of-town travel.

Technical Experience: Experience working in a production environment is helpful. Required Education and Certifications:

1. Position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Equivalent experience, education, and training may be considered as a diploma substitute.


2. If operating a motor vehicle while on company business, job incumbents must possess current Motor Vehicle Operator's License and maintain proper personal insurance coverage. Must be forklift certified.

Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisory responsibility for other employees. Company effectiveness depends upon a strong teamwork environment.
