Fabricator/ Welder

OneSource Professional Search is partnering with an established industrial equipment manufacturer to hire a skilled Fabricator/Welder. This hands-on role involves welding and fabricating castings and components using MIG, TIG, stick, and other welding processes while working from blueprints, welding symbols, and WPS requirements. It is a three-month contract role with the potential for direct hire conversion.

Responsibilities

• Produce structurally sound welds on castings and fabricated components.

• Perform MIG, TIG, stick, wire-feed, and related welding work.

• Read blueprints, welding symbols, specifications, and WPS requirements.

• Fabricate, fit, grind, measure, and inspect completed work.

• Follow established safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Welding/fabrication training and hands-on experience.

• Ability to produce sound welds and work from WPS requirements.

• Ability to read technical drawings and welding symbols.

• Experience with welding equipment, grinders, measuring tools, and power tools.

• 1–5 years of welding/fabrication experience preferred.
