As a Facilitator, you may coordinate and lead Youth-Centered Planning Meetings (YCPM) in alignment with Juvenile Courts statewide standards. You’ll prepare participants, guide productive discussions, and follow through with documentation to support family-driven, goal-oriented planning.

Facilitation & Case Responsibilities
• Learn and follow all statewide contractual standards.
• Prepare for meetings by:
-Collaborating with key stakeholders (Juvenile Courts team members, youth, families, and other community partner professionals).
-Meeting with families and youth to explain processes, encourage participation, and identify supports.
Scheduling meetings at times and locations that work best for families and youth.
Coordinating necessary supplies, interpreters, and materials for in-person, virtual, or hybrid meetings.
-Ensuring all identified participants are invited and informed of any changes or cancellations promptly.

What You Need to Succeed
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary education with relevant human services experience.
• Completion of all required trainings and certifications within contractual timeframes, with ongoing renewal/ recertification as required.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to handle emergencies, manage conflict, and maintain professional boundaries.
• Skilled at keeping meetings focused and productive, ensuring meetings remain productive by re-directing when needed.
• Genuine compassion and cultural sensitivity, with the ability to support youth and respect their uniqueness.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management systems.
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs. and travel to meeting locations.
• Strong reasoning, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
