Our Mission 
Calvary provides a Christ-centered education from Infant–12th grade, focusing on the whole child—spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. Inspired by Luke 2:52, we aim to help children grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and others. 

Calvary Day School is seeking diligent, hard-working custodial technicians for part-time and full-time day and evening shifts.  Must possess a strong work ethic, an attention to detail, and a commitment to contribute to Calvary's mission by maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for staff and students.  

Qualifications:

• Good physical health with ability to perform duties for extended periods.


• Resilient and committed approach to all tasks.


• Effectively manages time and prioritizes tasks with minimal supervision to ensure all duties are completed thoroughly. 


• Reliable, friendly and resourceful. Positive attitude.  Works well with others.


• Must love children and serve as an excellent role model.


• High school diploma.  Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Respond to immediate cleaning and sanitizing requirements as required by the Supervisor.


• Execute daily floor care routines, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, to maintain pristine and sanitary surfaces.


• Manage waste disposal efficiently, ensuring all areas are tidy and free of clutter.


• Ensure restrooms are clean, disinfected and stocked with necessary supplies.


• Keep building and grounds, sidewalks, driveways, parking and play areas - free from litter.


• Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe environment.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, reaching, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing.


• Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling, balance.


• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty pounds.


• Ability to work in some temperature extremes.
