Facilities Maintenance Associate (Quakertown, PA)

Celerity, a well-established telecommunications/construction company located in Quakertown, PA is currently seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Associate to join our growing team. The facilities associate basic duties include cleaning office and warehouse and grounds spaces, performing some lawn maintenance and light maintenance. This role combines janitorial and groundskeeper tasks, requiring physical stamina for both interior and outdoor work in various conditions. Other duties include assisting other departments as required, including vehicle shuttling for maintenance and repair. Inventory counting, Deliveries, etc.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting interior spaces,


• Responsible for ensuring the building and the grounds are operational, safe, and well-kept.


• Keeping trash receptacles emptied.


• Minor repairs and Maintenance.


• Grounds Maintenance


• Stocking of cleaning products and office supplies.


• Identifying, recording and reporting damaged, lost, and stolen property.


• Actively participating and promoting health and safety practices.


• Work with the Safety department to ensure our facilities are safe.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.


• Experience in Janitorial, custodial or maintenance for facilities


• Must possess a good mechanical aptitude


• Computer literacy and MS Office experience


• Valid PA drivers license with the ability to obtain a CDL medical is a plus


• Forklift operation experience is a plus


• Experience loading and unloading trucks, trailers, material and equipment.is a plus.


• Experience with OSHA Compliance is a plus.


• Must possess strong communication skills


• Ability to operate mobile apps for time reporting.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 6AM to 3PM. These hours are subject to business needs and coverage for assigned duties. This position may occasionally require additional off hours or weekend work. Hours need to be flexible based on business needs.
