The Facilities Maintenance Support position helps maintain the daily operation, upkeep, and appearance of CORA facilities. Under the direction of the Purchasing & Facilities Manager and Purchasing & Facilities Assistant, this role assists with building maintenance, inventory, office setup, minor repairs, and transportation of equipment, supplies, and documents between locations. It supports multiple departments and responds to facility needs to keep CORA locations safe, clean, functional, organized, and welcoming for patients, providers, and employees.

- Assist with the daily maintenance and upkeep of all CORA facilities and grounds.
- Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance, safety, or housekeeping concerns.
- Complete minor repairs, installations, and facility improvement projects as assigned.
- Assist with office setup, furniture assembly, workspace reconfigurations, and departmental moves.
- Coordinate facility requests and communicate maintenance concerns to leadership.
- Identify facility needs that require vendor or specialized support and provide recommendations to management.
- Support facility readiness for staff, patients, and visitors.
Groundskeeping & Housekeeping Support
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional facility environment.
- Perform seasonal maintenance activities, including snow removal and walkway safety measures as needed.
- Assist with housekeeping tasks to maintain facility appearance standards.
- Monitor common areas and report concerns requiring additional attention.
- Follow established cleaning and safety procedures.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all organizational safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize proper lifting techniques and safety equipment when performing physical tasks.
- Maintain safe working conditions and promptly report hazards or safety concerns.
- Protect patient, employee, and business information through appropriate confidentiality practices.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable company policies and operational standards.
Collaboration & Teamwork
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with employees, leadership, vendors, and contractors.
- Respond professionally to facility-related requests and operational needs.
- Support departmental projects and organizational initiatives as assigned.
- Demonstrate flexibility in meeting changing business needs and priorities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Duties as needed: Inventory, Receiving & Material Management
- Receive and sign for shipments, deliveries, and freight.
- Verify received items against packing slips and purchase documentation.
- Notify the appropriate departments when materials arrive.
- Assist with inventory management and supply organization across multiple locations.
- Support stock replenishment efforts to ensure operational readiness.
- Assist with movement and distribution of equipment, furniture, and supplies throughout the organization.
- Run business-related errands and support operational logistics as needed.
- Delivering items in a timely and organized manner while maintaining confidentiality and security.
Requirements: Education
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Experience
- Previous facilities maintenance, building maintenance, logistics, custodial, or related experience preferred.
- Experience using basic hand tools and performing minor facility repairs preferred.
- Experience supporting inventory management or receiving operations preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
- Must meet eligibility requirements for coverage under the organization's insurance carrier.
