Job Summary:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Facilities and Equipment Technician is responsible for supporting the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment, tooling, and building systems. This position performs hands on technical work to help maintain safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
The technician will work closely with engineering, operations, quality, maintenance personnel, contractors, and vendors to support production equipment and facility needs.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school certificate, associate degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical technology, electrical technology, manufacturing technology, or a related field preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in industrial maintenance, equipment repair, facilities maintenance, manufacturing support, or a related technical position preferred.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, electrical systems, hand tools, power tools, and measurement equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems using drawings, manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and computerized maintenance management systems.
• Basic CAD experience or the ability to read and make minor updates to technical drawings is preferred.
• Basic fabrication, machining, welding, or fixture building experience is a plus.
• General knowledge of manufacturing processes, process controls, and continuous improvement practices preferred.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, including aerospace, medical device, automotive, electronics, or defense manufacturing, is a plus.
• Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple maintenance requests and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
• Must be considered a United States Person and eligible to work in the United States.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
• Work is performed in both office and manufacturing environments.
• Regular exposure to operating machinery, tools, electrical systems, mechanical systems, noise, and other conditions associated with a manufacturing environment.
• This position requires working near electrical and mechanical equipment that could potentially interfere with pacemaker function.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Ability to use a computer and complete electronic maintenance records.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and walk throughout the production facility.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to travel between workstations and various areas of the production floor.
• Visual acuity sufficient to read measurements, drawings, assembly instructions, and equipment displays.
• Hearing ability sufficient to detect alarms, machinery sounds, and verbal instructions in a noisy environment.
• Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment as required by company safety procedures.
