The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:\n\n$63,900.00 - $95,900.00\n\nFailure Analysis Engineers are a key resource for the manufacturing team, supporting validation of new processes or material and the identification of issues and corrective actions. \n \nKey Job Accountabilities:\n\n * Support manufacturing by troubleshooting product failures in both manufacturing and customer sites.\n * Physical analysis of defective electronic, electrical and mechanical components.\n * Support introduction of new product, process or material by analysis of assemblies.\n * Monitor manufacturing processes using analysis test vehicles.\n * Operate a variety of lab equipment to complete analysis.\n * Generate reports to summarize findings using Google Workspace platform.\n\n\n\n \nAdditional Accountabilities:\n\n * Assist in assessment and management of 3rd party services.\n * Research material properties and specifications and application.\n * Establish and document standard assessment practices.\n * Evaluate and purchase equipment to upgrade or meet new requirements.\n * Manage lab equipment maintenance and calibration.\n * Manage control consumable materials.\n\n\n\n \nEducation/Experience Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree with 3 to 5 years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.\n * Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics troubleshooting failure analysis, rework or repair is preferred. Experience within a regulated industry is a plus.\n * Hands-on experience in failure analysis of PCBAs, boards, or systems.\n * Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams to drive corrective actions.\n * Intermediate Verbal and Written Communications Skills\n * Strong Analytical and statistical analysis Skills; Statistical Process Control Software Skills\n * Lab tool/ test/measurement equipment experience preferred\n\n\n\n \nThis document does not represent a contract of employment and is not intended to capture every possible assignment the incumbent could be asked to perform.\n
