Family Caregiver Contractor

                     CONTRACTED PERSONAL CARE ALTERNATIVE / FAMILY CAREGIVER 

The primary goal of a Family Caregiver (Independent Contractor) is to provide the kind of support a family member with developmental disabilities needs to become an active member of society. Our Family Caregiver realize this goal by working with Stellar Care in many of the following ways:

• Providing a home-like PCA environment, where the family member is a part of the family.

• Addressing the medical, psychological and emotional needs of the family member.

• Developing Enhanced Life Plans that encourage independence and community contribution.

• Providing guidance in activities such as recreation, work and personal care.
  


• Provide a designated bedroom with a lockable door (key lock) for any individual provided service in their home.

These are only a few of the services our Family Caregiver can offer by working with Stellar Care. Individual needs vary, and our Family Caregiver are thoroughly trained in accordance with Colorado healthcare policy and finance. 

Family Caregiver's cover the spectrum of age, race, religious beliefs and income levels. Backgrounds of successful Family Caregiver's vary, from school bus drivers to business owners to teachers. Our array of Family Caregiver has one thing in common with our staff – we care!

- all applicants must provide 3 written professional references that address character and suitability to provide care to their children or adults with developmental disabilities. These references must have known you well for at least one year and are NOT RELATIVES.  Please provide names, relation and contact information on your application.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis for family members who are serving someone on an HCBS Waiver
