Location: Ontario, CA — Hybrid. Work remotely when you're not needed in court, with in-person hearings throughout the Inland Empire and Southern California.
Note: An active California Bar license and at least 3 years of directly relevant family law experience are required. Candidates with stronger family law litigation experience are especially encouraged to apply.

Job Description
- Manage and strategically advance an assigned family law caseload with increasing autonomy.
- Represent clients in RFOs, DVROs, MSCs, trials, and other family law proceedings.
- Draft persuasive motions, declarations, settlement documents, trial documents, and other legal pleadings.
- Negotiate directly with opposing counsel to pursue strong and practical outcomes for clients.
- Develop discovery and document strategies in partnership with paralegals and case managers.
- Direct support staff on case preparation so you can stay focused on substantive legal work.
- Analyze complex family law issues involving divorce, child custody, support, property and debt division, parentage, and post-judgment matters.
- Travel to hearings across the Inland Empire, Los Angeles, and Orange County as needed.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and the internal team.
- Work effectively within a paperless, technology-driven legal environment.
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license.
- 3+ years of family law experience
- Strong courtroom, negotiation, legal research, and writing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload with limited supervision.
- Comfortable handling hearings, settlement negotiations, and litigation.
- Strong judgment, organization, communication, and client-service skills.
- Ability to travel to court appearances throughout Southern California.
- Comfortable working in a paperless, multi-monitor technology environment.
