Our Turning Point team is committed to providing competent, creative high-fidelity wraparound services that improve and empower our youth and their families to successfully manage complex mental health, substance use and psychotic disorder issues with community and office-based services. If your professional values are focused around assisting youth and their families with community-based interventions to lessen the likelihood of an out of home placement, exploring strategies with families to allow them to independently resolve challenges, provide hope to families when their children are having severe mental health experiences, and see the value in the synergy of clinical interventions and the lived experience of peer supports to help a youth and their family reach their goals for recovery, then this may be the position for you! We are located within easy commuting distance from Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia and Prince William County. We are seeking qualified applicants to fill a part-time Family Support Partner position in the Turning Point Program. This position is grant funded and is up for renewal annually in September. The individual working in this role can expect to work between 10 and 25 hours per week, with some flexibilities for telework.
Pay is not to exceed 50 dollars/hour.
About This Role: Turning Point offers a team environment and flexible work hours, and encourages collaboration with other staff including peer support specialist, education and employment specialists, outpatient therapists, case managers, and psychiatrists.
