FCS Youth Mentor/Program Support (Afterschool Program)

Join the APEC Family Foundation team and make a lasting impact in the lives of children! We are seeking enthusiastic, dependable Youth Mentors to provide a safe, engaging, and supportive afterschool environment where students can learn, grow, and thrive.

As a Youth Mentor, you will lead enrichment activities, assist with homework and academic support, build positive relationships with students, and help create meaningful experiences that promote leadership, teamwork, and personal growth.

• Work from school dismissal until approximately 5:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage groups of elementary students in a safe and positive environment.
• Lead recreational, enrichment, and youth development activities.
• Assist students with homework and academic support.
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and school staff.
• Maintain accurate attendance and follow program procedures.
• Support behavior management using positive reinforcement.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all participants.

Qualifications

• Must currently work at a Fulton County Schools partner school.
• Teacher or Paraprofessional Certification preferred.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday during afterschool hours.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
