Burr Industries manufactures commercial holiday décor that is displayed throughout cities, parks, zoos, and attractions across North America. We take pride in building quality products right here in Alabama, and we're looking for dependable individuals who enjoy working with their hands and creating products that customers will enjoy for years.

No fiberglass experience? That's okay. If you're dependable, willing to learn, and have a strong work ethic, we'll train you.

What You'll Do

As a Fiberglass Technician, you'll be part of a team that manufactures and finishes fiberglass products from start to finish. Daily responsibilities may include:

• Prepare molds for production


• Apply fiberglass mat, resin, and other composite materials


• Trim, sand, grind, and finish fiberglass products


• Repair imperfections and perform touch-up work


• Inspect products for quality before they move to the next production stage


• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area


• Work with teammates to meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards

• Comfortable performing physical work in a manufacturing environment


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing, construction, auto body, woodworking, painting, or fiberglass experience


• Experience using hand or power tools


• Ability to follow instructions and work as a team
