Cerberus Safety Systems, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Installation Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Field Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting our low -voltage systems at client locations. You will ensure that our systems are operational, meet the client's requirements, and are in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and test low voltage systems, including access control, video surveillance, fire alarms, intrusion detection, and other related systems at client sites.
- Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and provide accurate estimates for projects.
- Collaborate with the project management team to plan and schedule installations, ensuring timely and efficient deployment of systems.
- Perform on -site troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of installed systems to ensure optimal functionality and client satisfaction.
- Train clients and end -users on the proper use and maintenance of low -voltage systems.
- Document all installations, configurations, maintenance activities, and repairs accurately and thoroughly.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on -site and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and management to provide project updates, resolve issues, and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide technical expertise and support as needed.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in low -voltage systems and technologies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or course work in electronics, security systems, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of safety and security systems is highly desirable.
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of electronic systems, wiring, and network fundamentals.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem -solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and Good Driving Record
