Field Manager Landscape Maintenance to service the extended Metro Atlanta Area from our Holly Springs, GA – North Branch.

As a premier landscape management Company, we are proud to partner with Community HOA’s, Senior Living Facilities, Corporate Campuses, Multi – Family Housing Communities, Commercial Properties, CID’s, Etc.

An ideal candidate would be skilled and highly motivated, with a focus on working safely and providing outstanding customer service. The core requirements of the Maintenance Foreman will be to conduct site inspections, provide leadership, guidance and assistance to the landscape maintenance crews.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate and oversee the work of their crew personnel.
  • Train staff, ensure performance quality, and follow Job site schedules accordingly. 
  • Assist employees in proper landscape methods and procedures, providing corrections as needed.
  • Inspect all grounds, lawns, landscaped areas, and landscaping on a regular basis.
  • Ensure properties are maintained in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. 
  • Report any unsafe or improperly maintained conditions and correct where necessary.
  • Operate commercial mower, push mower 21, weed-eater, blower, stick edges, and recognize safety procedures and best practices. 
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments on machinery.
  • Operation of lawncare machinery, company trucks and grounds maintenance equipment.
  • Constant communication with the Operation Managers, multiple times a day, based on property performance and requirements.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA and other Jobsite and Driver Safety Regulations, Company Policies and Procedures 
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good, safe working condition.
  • Lead your teams by positive example. 
  • Maintain Company Vehicle as per Company Requirements. 
  • Attend and participate in required safety, training and leadership meetings as applicable. 
  • Submit and review required paperwork: Timesheets, receipts, daily debriefs, inspection reports and completed reports – accurately and timely.
  • Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations at shop, yard and on jobsites

Requirements

  • Good understanding of plans and seasonal changes.
  • At least 4 years of ground maintenance experience. 
  • Experience in all phases of landscaping (plant ID, pruning, mulching, mowing, edging, etc.)
  • Experience as a Team lead directly supervising at least 2 people. 
  • Experience with 2 Cycle Equipment to include (but not limit) Gas Shears, Chainsaw, Brush Cutters
  • Operation of a Company Vehicle is Required - Valid CDL and acceptable MVR for business travel and reliable transportation to and from office. 
  • Carry and use a smart phone and / or data enabled device for business communications and reporting.
  • Basic computer sills to include email and Microsoft Office 

Work Conditions / Essential Functions: 

  • Will be required to work in a non-climate-controlled environments.
  • Ability to walk and / or stand for long periods of time 
  • Manual, labor intensive position, requiring lifting of up to 50 lbs. 
  • Travel to and work at various locations including both residential and commercial sites
  • Flexible working hours, including overtime and occasional weekend work.
  • Required to work around heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis.
