About the Role:
This role owns the in-home setup of a specific piece of patient equipment across Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Staten Island, traveling directly to patients rather than having them come to a clinic. The specialist demonstrates proper use, walks patients through their first experience with the device, and stays on until the patient is confident using it alone. It's a healthcare position built for someone who wants direct, hands-on patient contact over a desk job.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Visits

• Travel to patients' homes throughout Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Staten Island


• Set up equipment for patients


• Demonstrate proper use of the machine and related equipment

Patient Education & Support

• Educate patients and provide clear instructions and tutorials


• Answer patient questions and confirm understanding of equipment use


• Help patients feel comfortable and confident with new equipment


• Troubleshoot basic setup and usage questions

Administration

• Communicate with the office regarding patient visits


• Complete documentation following each visit

Qualifications

• Medical or healthcare background preferred


• EMT experience a plus


• Experience working directly with patients


• Strong communication and teaching skills


• Patient, personable, and professional


• Comfortable traveling independently throughout NYC


• Must have a reliable car and valid driver's license
