As our Field Safety Manager, you’ll work directly with field crews, superintendents, subcontractors, and project teams to identify hazards, solve problems, and make sure everyone goes home safely.

What you’ll actually be doing:
Visiting active jobsites and conducting regular safety inspections
Identifying hazards and working with project teams to correct them
Supporting field crews and superintendents with practical safety solutions
Leading safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee training
Conducting new-hire safety orientations
Reviewing project-specific safety plans and job hazard analyses
Investigating incidents, injuries, and near misses
Preparing and maintaining safety reports, records, and training documentation
Monitoring subcontractor compliance with company and OSHA requirements
Promoting a positive, proactive safety culture across all jobsites

What we’re looking for:
1-5 years of construction safety experience preferred
Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and jobsite safety practices
OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification minimum
Ability to conduct Risk assessments, train, manage, and guide onsite construction personnel
Experience conducting jobsite inspections and incident investigations
Ability to communicate confidently with employees, subcontractors, and leadership
Organized, dependable, and comfortable managing documentation and follow-up
Ability to travel regularly to jobsites throughout the St. Louis regional area
Comfortable walking active jobsites, climbing ladders and stairs, and working in indoor and outdoor conditions
Bonus if you have:
CHST, CSP, or a related safety certification
Experience in pharmaceutical, industrial, healthcare, energy, or commercial construction
Experience developing safety programs or leading companywide training
Familiarity with electronic safety reporting systems
