Job Description - Field Service Associate

Eaton\u2019s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Field Service Associate in Albuquerque, NM. \n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $56000 - $83000 a year. \n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nEaton\u2019s Engineering Service \u0026 Systems Division is seeking an Associate Field Service Representative to join our team. \n\nEaton has the largest and most experienced team of field services technicians and engineers in the industry, and we are looking to grow our team. In this role, you will:\n\n * Provide field service assistance to customers by supporting Eaton Field Service Representatives in transporting equipment to customer sites, performing installation, startup, maintenance, repair, and electrical power distribution equipment modification.\n * Assist office personal \u0026 field service team with assigned tasks\n * Assist with shipping \u0026 receiving\n * Perform warehousing \u0026 material handling\n * Prepare materials, test equipment and tools so that jobs are properly staged for success\n * Be responsible for both stock and special-order inventory management\n * Maintain records and data entry around reports\n\n\n\nTeam Benefits:\n\n * Guaranteed 40-hour base pay, eligible for overtime and travel premiums\n * Career growth, mentorship and safety training\n * Company toolkit and phone\n * Tuition assistance for ongoing learning\n * Leads program with bonus pay\n * Opportunities across 32 service branches\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\n * High School Diploma or higher\n * Must be able to work in the US without corporate sponsorship now or in the future\n * No relocation offered; candidates within 50-mile radius considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * 2-year technical degree or similar experience in military training\n * Minimum 2 years of electrical or mechanical industry experience\n * Experience in basic testing and servicing electrical distribution and control systems is highly desirable.\n * Forklift or industrial equipment operation\n * Experiencing in wiring, reading wiring diagrams and understanding schematics\n * Proficient with hand and power tools for equipment assembly\n * Works well under time constraints and in stressful situations\n * Collaborates effectively with the team to meet project deadlines\n * Problem-solving and logical thinking skills\n * Ability to obtain and maintain a valid TWIC card\n * Must have a valid driver\u0027s license\n\n\n\n## Position Success Criteria:\n\n * Proficient computer skills\n * Knowledge and practice of safety precautions related to working with electrical and electronic equipment.\n * Demonstrated ability to provide service and represent company interests in developing customer relationships to ensure long-term customer satisfaction.\n * Must possess and maintain a valid driver\u0027s license in order to occasionally operate Eaton Fleet Pool Vehicles.\n * Must be able and willing to obtain Department of Transportation (DOT) non-CDL qualification and comply with all DOT regulatory requirements, if required.\n * Must have the ability to work variable hours, including nights \u0026 weekends, and travel within the district / state / region / country based on customer requirements.\n * Successfully complete and maintain compliance with Eaton\u2019s safety program and policy.\n * Submit to periodic customer required background and drug screenings.\n * Performs physically demanding tasks, requirement to stand, walk, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach above, to, and below shoulder level, lift, carry, push, pull, and use hands to handle and feel. The employee is frequently required to climb and regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to push/pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally required to push/pull greater than 50 pounds with assistance\n\n\n\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
