Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation \n\u2022 Must have a valid driver\u0027s license \n \nPreferred Qualifications \n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution \n\u2022 Minimum of 1 year of field service evaluating and servicing electrical distribution or control systems \n\u2022 Electrical or General Contractor\u2019s License \n\u2022 Professional Engineering License \n\u2022 Experience in testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution and control systems \n\u2022 Experience performing power quality measurements, troubleshooting, analysis as well as protective relays \n\u2022 NICET/NETA certification\n\n## Skills:\n\nPosition Success Criteria: \n\u2022 Successfully complete and maintain compliance with Eaton\u2019s safety program and policy; This includes role-applicable portions of the EESS Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) program and any required annual re-certifications thereafter. \n\u2022 Submit to periodic customer required background and drug screenings. \n\u2022 Must have the ability to work variable hours, including nights \u0026 weekends, and travel within the district/state/region/country based on customer requirements. \n\u2022 This position requires you to drive an Eaton vehicle. \n\u2022 Must be able and willing to obtain Department of Transportation (DOT) non-CDL qualification and comply with all DOT regulatory requirements, if required. \n\u2022 Understands 3-phase power systems and low, medium, and high voltage power distribution equipment. \n\u2022 Practices electrical safety measures \n\u2022 Performs physically demanding tasks, requirement to stand, walk, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach above, to, and below shoulder level, lift, carry, push, pull, and use hands to handle and feel. Frequently required to climb and regularly required to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds; occasionally required to push/pull greater than 50 pounds with assistance. May be required to drive extended distances, work in extreme weather and temperature conditions, work at sites with areas that have poor lighting, ventilation, and dust and/or be exposed to high noise levels. \n\u2022 Ability to obtain and maintain a valid TWIC card. \n\u2022 Proficient with hand and power tools for equipment assembly \n\u2022 Strong computer skills \n\u2022 Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills \n\u2022 Works well under time constraints and in stressful situations \n\u2022 Explain technical problems and solutions \n\u2022 Collaborates effectively with the team to meet project deadlines \n\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
