Field Service Technician Apprentice

Join Toshiba America Business Solutions as a Field Service Technician - Apprentice in Twinsburg, OH

You’ll work with industry-leading office technology while supporting customers throughout your assigned territory. From troubleshooting and repairs to installations and upgrades, you’ll play a key role in keeping multifunction printers, copiers, and Managed Print Services (MPS) environments running at their best.

What you’ll do

• Shadow experienced Field Service Technicians while learning to maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations


• Assist with diagnosing equipment issues, installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.


• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training


• Perform preventative maintenance and assist with inventory, tools, test equipment, and service documentation with guidance from experienced Field Service Technicians


• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures

What You’ll Bring

Prior copier or office equipment experience is not required. Toshiba provides training and support to help you succeed.

• High School Diploma or GED


• Willingness to learn new skills


• Basic math skills


• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching


• Valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions requiring the use of a personal vehicle for company business

Earn Well

• Hourly Range: $16.50 to $17.50, depending on experience.


• Monthly Performance Based Technician Bonus - up to $4,800 per year—$400 per month.
