Field Service Technician Copier, Printer & MFP Repair

Overview
We are hiring a Field Service Technician III to support commercial printers, copiers, and multi-function printers (MFPs) in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. This is a hands-on role ideal for technicians who enjoy troubleshooting, repair, and field service operations with a strong focus on uptime and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform break/fix repair and preventive maintenance on copiers, printers, and MFP devices
• Respond to on-site service calls and resolve technical issues quickly
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and network-related equipment problems
• Maintain accurate service reports, logs, and documentation
• Ensure all equipment meets performance and quality standards
• Communicate effectively with customers and deliver an excellent service experience
• Identify and report recurring product or service issues
• Follow all customer site safety and compliance protocols

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of field service technician experience (printers/copiers/MFP preferred)
• Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong troubleshooting skills in digital imaging equipment
• Ability to work in a 24/7 environment, including on-call rotations
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; travel required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical fieldwork
• Must meet customer requirements, including site access/security clearances

Compensation & Benefits

• $30 – $35/hour (based on experience)
• Transportation allowance + optional company vehicle
• Mileage/auto allowance during initial period
