Field Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Field Specialist to ensure our projects meet the highest standards of craftsmanship. In this hands-on role, you will serve as our final line of quality assurance, conducting meticulous walkthroughs, executing on-site repairs, and completing warranty service requests. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, a strong background in cabinet installation or finish carpentry, and the ability to seamlessly manage field logistics and punch-list tasks to keep our projects moving forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance: Conduct Quality Control (QC) walkthroughs across various trades, meticulously inspecting flooring (carpet, tile, EVP) and cabinet installations to confirm flawless execution and identify any defects.
• On-Site Repairs: Execute localized repairs and replacements for trade-damaged cabinet components, encompassing fillers, doors, drawer fronts, end panels, and hardware (knobs/pulls).
• Precision Adjustments: Perform expert adjustments on cabinet doors and drawers to guarantee optimal alignment, smooth operation, and a polished, professional finish.
• Warranty Fulfillment: Independently complete both cabinet and lock warranty service requests to ensure lasting quality and client satisfaction.
• Punch-List & Finishing Touches: Conduct miscellaneous field repairs as necessary to resolve punch-list items, including the occasional grout touch-up and precise silicone application, to maintain project momentum and uphold company standards.  
• Material Logistics: Manage local material logistics, including the pickup of cabinet supplies and the receipt and processing of GL parts for deployment to the field.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in finish carpentry, cabinet installation, or field service repair.
• An exceptionally keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering flawless end products.
• Proficiency with the hand and power tools necessary for precise cabinet and hardware adjustments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently to resolve punch-list items on active job sites.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required for local material runs and site-to-site travel).
• Excellent time-management skills and the ability to process and deploy field materials efficiently.
