Field Support Technician I

We are a global distribution company currently seeking a Field Support Technician to join our team in Richmond, VA.

• Moving, installing, replacing and testing computer equipment
• Performing software installations and updates
• Training users
• Conducting preventative maintenance
• Preparing reports and conducting audits
• Performing routine trouble-shooting and problem resolution and providing routine support for customers using software and systems
• Will apply images to laptop and desktop computers
• Configure and install network attached and local printers
• Ship IT equipment to remote locations
• Provide telephone support for system installation and testing
• Provide documentation related to system builds and installations

• 2+ yrs experience as a Field Service Technician
• 1+ yrs of Customer Service experience
• Strong knowledge of computers
• High School Diploma or GED
• Legal authorization to work in the US

• 2 Month Contract +/-
• Pay: DOE
• Shift: Mon-Fri, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
