We support children, adults, and their families to access both in-home and community services. Once determined eligible, we utilize a Person-Centered approach addressing the health and safety needs for the individuals and families being served.
We assist individuals and families to identify natural and community supports, potential supports in their own homes, and potential Medicaid-funded supports in the community. We encourage self-determination and offer a supported decision-making process for adults seeking services. Families with children seeking services will receive information on supports available within their communities.
To excel as a File & Scanning Clerk at Community Living Case Management, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with at least three years of experience in an office setting. Proficiency in computer skills is essential, as you'll be entering data and working with digital files regularly. You should be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and have strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients. The ability to resolve conflicts in high-pressure situations, coupled with excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail, will be key to your success in this role.
Key responsibilities include clerical office support; data entry and database management; creating and maintaining a current filing system; and using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word) to track and communicate information.
Required qualifications/skills:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent
- Able to pass a criminal history background check
- Able to stoop, bend, lift, and carry at least 30 pounds without assistance
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Dependable and reliable
