Purpose: The Finance & Operations Analyst is embedded within the business at The Village Dallas. This role sits at the intersection of finance and operations, using data to inform decisions, optimize performance, and drive profitability across a diverse portfolio of venues. This is not a traditional reporting role—you will work directly with operators to influence real-time decisions and improve business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Partnership: Act as a financial partner to venue leaders and support real-time decisions on labor, pricing, and cost control.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze performance vs. budget and prior year, identifying key drivers and opportunities.
- Financial Planning & Forecasting: Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling across venues.
- Data & Decision Support: Develop KPIs, dashboards, and perform ad hoc analysis with actionable recommendations.
- Process & Systems Improvement: Improve reporting automation, data accuracy, and build scalable tools.
- Business Partner: Proactive partners with operators to understand the business at a venue level. Identifies opportunities for profitability using insight that leads to measurable improvements in labor controls and productivity, while increasing margin and revenue.
- Assists with other special projects as identified. Help determine best data source and implementation strategies.
Skills:
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and experience with large datasets.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L drivers and operational performance.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, proactive mindset, and ability to influence teams.
Qualifications:
- Education: Four-year degree in hospitality, business administration, finance, information systems, or related field, preferred.
- Experience: 2–5 years in FP&A, finance, consulting, or analytics. Hospitality or real estate experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
CCBA, CBAP, or similar preferred, but not required.
