Finance/Accounting Analyst

Job Description:

A global Private Equity firm is seeking an analyst with background in accounting and finance to join their growing team! Located in New York, NY this opportunity is great for individuals who have prior experience working in the Hedge Fund, Private Equity, or REIT space! 3-5 years of relevant, professional experience could be a great fit for this company. This individual will be handling all the cash reconciliations, monthly/quarterly reporting, and processing financial statements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and process invoices for approval
  
• Prepare payment batches and apply payments
  
• Process loan activity, cash flow activity, and cross-train on asset classes to support other resources as issues may arise
  
• Prepare intercompany entries and reconciliations
  
• Assist with prepaid and accrued expenses
  
• Allocate expenses in accordance with our allocation policies
  
• Improving the processes for administrative-related tasks
  
• Interact with various departments and outside vendors

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years within REIT
  
• Experience with month/quarter-end reporting
  
• Public experience is not required, but would be ideal!

Compensation:

• $105,000 - $130,000
