Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Financial Analyst \u2013 Level 2/3 to join our team in Chandler AZ. \n\nThis position can be filled at either a Level 2 or 3.\n\nRole and Impact: \n\n * Actively participate in program Earned Value Management activities in compliance to IPMR/IPMDAR data reporting requirements; including preparation of earned value deliverables ensuring compliance, timeliness and accuracy.\n * Support baseline efforts, and Initial Baseline Reviews (IBR\u2019s) with customers.\n * Prepare EACs to include earned value analysis, hands-on EAC updates, and revisions.\n * Support the monthly financial forecasting process to include analysis and recommendations on awards, sales, operating margin, and cash.\n * Prepare and present financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts.\n * Support internal and external support of compliance audits.\n * Support pricing, proposal activities and contract negotiations.\n * Cash Management to ensure timely invoicing and collections.\n * Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Operations, Engineering and Program Management.\n * Maintain the highest level of commitment to quality, compliance and internal controls in adherence to company values and ethics.\n * Other duties as assigned.\n\n\n\nIf this job description reads like it was written specifically for you, consider joining our team!\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Level 2 - Bachelor\u2019s degree with 2+ years of industry related experience in Finance, Accounting or Program Control \u2013 OR \u2013 Master\u2019s degree with 1+ years of industry related experience in Finance, Accounting, or Program Control.\n * Level 3 - Bachelor\u2019s degree with 5+ years of industry related experience in Finance, Accounting, or Program Control \u2013 OR \u2013 Master\u2019s degree with 3+ years of industry related experience in Finance, Accounting, or Program Control.\n * Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree\n * Expertise with Microsoft Office suite.\n * Strong analysis and critical thinking skills.\n * Ability to communicate financial/program information efficiently within a matrix organization.\n * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Ability to communicate financial/program information efficiently within a matrix organization.\n * Experience with Earned Value and financial reporting on a variety of contract types.\n * Understanding of US Government procurement and contracting, Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR.\n * Experience with NGFP financial forecasting system \u0026 COBRA earned value management system.\n * Excellent communication skills oral and written.\n * Prior experience in the aerospace and defense industry.\n * Active DOD or ability/willingness to obtain a Secret Clearance.\n\n\n\nAbout Space Sector: We are an industry-leading provider for prime satellite and payload capabilities and directed energy and electronics solutions for national security, military, and civil customers. \n\nCurious about all the exciting developments with the Northrop Grumman Space Sector? Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
