Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead its accounting function and serve as a key financial partner to leadership and operations.

The role will oversee financial reporting, accounting processes, cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting while providing the analysis and financial insight needed to support business decisions and improve performance.

Responsibilities

  Oversee the accounting function and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting

  
  


• 
  

  Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting processes

  
  


• 
  

  Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis

  
  


• 
  

  Partner with operations teams to analyze performance, identify trends, and provide meaningful financial insights

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor results against budgets and forecasts and provide reporting and recommendations to leadership

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain strong accounting processes, controls, and reporting standards

  
  


• 
  

  Oversee cash management and support banking relationships

  
  


• 
  

  Lead and develop the accounting team

  
  


• 
  

  Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, processes, and overall efficiency

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  Experience in a Controller, VP of Finance, or similar senior accounting leadership role strongly preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Strong accounting and financial reporting background

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work effectively with both financial and operational teams

  
  


• 
  

  Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills

  
  


• 
  

  Hands-on approach with the ability to operate at both a detailed and broader business level
