Fitness Instructor

Responsible for providing excellent and safe instruction, motivation, and support to the program participants in group exercise classes.

Independent Contractor 

$15.00-$30.00/Hourly 

Essential Functions:

• Leads fitness and/or related classes.
• Communicates and enforces HealthPlex policies and procedures as they relate to group fitness.
• Make sure participants are performing exercises safely.
• Responsible for assisting in set-up and clean-up of fitness programs.
• Trains participants in a manner that is both demonstrative and professional.
• Takes attendance of class each time class is held.
• Fill out the timecard accordingly.
•  Finds subs for sickness or vacations and is willing to help sub for others.
• Develops positive relationships with members and provides motivational support and guidance.
• Communicates needs, issues and concerns to Facility Coordinator. 

• High school diploma or GED required. 18 years of age or older.
• Certifications which are helpful include Personal Training and Group Exercise Instructor.
