Flat Bed / Car Carrier Towing

A flatbed truck driver is primarily responsible for the transport and delivery of goods, ensuring efficiency and timeliness. 

• Following strict safety regulations, such as maintaining insurance coverage on the vehicle and keeping up with required maintenance checks
• Maintaining accurate records of cargo loads and deliveries, including time of departure and arrival, mileage, fuel consumption, and other pertinent information
• Following standard procedures when driving on interstates or other major highways

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Class A CDL
• 2 years of experience driving a flatbed truck (or comparable vehicle)
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test
• Ability to lift heavy objects and secure loads
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations Experience with tarping and strapping loads
• Experience using a winch
• Hazmat certification preferred
