Overview

PJP Marketplace is hiring a Floor Manager to lead in-store execution and support daily operations across departments. This role acts as the Store Manager’s key partner on shift, ensuring strong customer service, store readiness, inventory accuracy, and team performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily floor operations and act as Manager-on-Duty (MOD) as assigned


• Direct and support team members to ensure task completion and store priorities are met


• Deliver strong customer service and resolve escalated issues on the floor


• Maintain store readiness including stocking, merchandising, and cleanliness


• Oversee inventory execution, including ordering support, stock levels, and shrink control


• Ensure compliance with safety, cash-handling, and store procedures


• Coach and support associates, including onboarding and performance feedback

Qualifications

• Retail, grocery, stocking, or supervisory experience preferred


• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills


• Ability to manage priorities and lead teams in a fast-paced environment


• Working knowledge of inventory, merchandising, and product rotation practices


• Reliable attendance and flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Schedule

Full-time (30+ hours/week). Shifts vary and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Physical Requirements

Frequent standing and walking; ability to bend, lift, push, and move merchandise. Work includes exposure to cooler/freezer environments and requires safe handling of store equipment and products.
