Job Description - FOH Lead/Supervisor

We are currently seeking a friendly hospitality professional to join our team as an FOH Lead/Supervisor at Lightwell Hotel and Spa in Hood River, OR.

As the FOH Lead/Supervisor, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, providing leadership to the service team, and ensuring that our guests have a positive dining experience.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

Exhibit excellent leadership, communication, and multitasking skills while maintaining superior hospitality and a positive attitude.

Keep service running smoothly, promptly handling guest issues with warmth and discretion, assisting the team throughout service.

Assist with scheduling, assigning sections, and making appropriate service cuts.

Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) when the manager is not present.

2/3 shifts per week

Bartender/Server Responsibilities:

Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Take food and drink orders accurately.

Prepare and/or deliver orders to the correct guests in a timely, professional manner.

Ensure customer satisfaction by checking in with guests and addressing any issues.

Handle cash and credit card transactions.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

2/3 shifts per week

Requirements:

One year of bartending/serving experience, preferably in a leadership role.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Attention to detail

Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time

Must be 21 years of age or older

Valid Oregon Food Handler's card and OLCC permit (or ability to obtain)

Availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly wage plus tips when eligible (tip eligible when serving or bartending, no tips when MOD)
