Job Description

  • Review, assign, and process incoming Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests
  • Ensuring that FOIA requests and Privacy Act matters are handled in a responsible and efficient manner, and that statutory and established time standards are met
  • Work with the agency FOIA and Privacy Act Officer to develop improvements in the agency
  • Provide FOIA/PA guidance, support, and training to agency employees
  • Work on special projects related to FOIA processing

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor degree
  • Two (2) years or more of strong knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act 
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and writing
