Food & Beverage Expeditor

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Food & Beverage Expeditor to join our team at a DragonRidge Country Club. The Expeditor plays an important role in delivering exceptional dining experience by coordinating between the kitchen and service staff to ensure food is accurate, properly presented, and delivered to members and their guests in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and takes pride in maintaining the high standards of service expected in a private club setting.

• Responsibilities
• Coordinate communication between the kitchen, servers, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth food service.
• Review food orders for accuracy, presentation, garnishes, and special requests before they leave the kitchen.
• Ensure food is delivered to the correct table promptly and at the proper temperature.
• Monitor ticket times and help maintain an efficient flow of service during busy periods.
• Communicate dietary restrictions, allergies, and modifications clearly to the kitchen and service team.
• Assist servers with running food and maintain organized service stations as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line, pass, and surrounding work areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures.
• Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service consistent with the standards of a private country club.
• Assist with opening, closing, and other food and beverage duties as assigned.

  Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, food service, or expediting experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and a sense of urgency.

• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.

• Positive attitude and a strong commitment to teamwork.

• Professional appearance and demeanor.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and carry food trays as needed.

• Availability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
