Verrazano Nursing and Post-Acute Center is actively seeking experienced Food Service Director to work for our Skilled Nursing Facility.
Compensation: Competitive Salary based on experience
Full-Time
Hours: 8 am to 4 pm

Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Food Service Director to oversee the food service operations at our facility. This is an on-site position at our Staten Island location. The Food Service Director will be responsible for managing a team of food service staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation, implementing budgeting and cost control measures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

Experience in Food Service and Food Preparation
Experience in P&L Management and Budgeting
Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage industry trends and regulations
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work collaboratively with other departments
Experience in healthcare industry and/or long-term care is a plus

The ideal candidate will be able to manage a team effectively, communicate clearly with other departments, and ensure that our residents receive nutritious and satisfying meals.
