Ford Diesel Certified Service Technician

Job Summary:

The Ford Diesel Certified Service Technician at Prestige Ford is responsible for performing skilled mechanical work in the service and repair of Ford diesel vehicles. This is a full-time, individual contributor role located in Mount Dora, Florida within the Auto industry. As a Ford Diesel Certified Service Technician, you will be expected to have thorough knowledge of Ford diesel vehicle systems, components, and repairs. Your work will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of our customers' vehicles.

Compensation & Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary of $35 to $50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities:

•Perform routine maintenance and services on Ford diesel vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
•Diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical issues with Ford diesel vehicles
•Perform complex repairs, including engine overhauls, transmission replacements, and other major repairs
•Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and identify issues with vehicle systems
•Keep accurate and detailed records of all services performed and parts used
•Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repairs and services needed
•Stay up-to-date with new technology, procedures, and techniques to maintain and enhance technical proficiency
•Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

•High school diploma or equivalent
•Ford Diesel Certification required
•At least 2 years of related work experience in a similar role
•Good communication and customer service skills
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
•Must have own tools
•Valid driver's license and clean driving record
