About this role

As a Foreman with Carrier, you will uniquely impact our customers, becoming the face of the confidence we stand by while ensuring their comfort. Your knowledge of Commercial HVAC will be critical in working on a variety of installations, repairs, and maintenance projects. Key Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor and train OEM service technicians
• Understand the processes and procedures for major repairs to systems found in commercial HVAC facilities
• Understand air side systems, to include constant volume, VAV systems.
• Understand water side systems to include hot water, chilled water, and condenser water, etc.
• Support safety requirements and work closely with Safety Team
• Consult with customers regarding resolution of HVAC issues
• Provide technical assistance to Sales, Service Coordination and Technicians
• Assist crew in setting and obtaining goals and training
• Perform normal Journeyman HVAC activities and additional tasks as assigned
• Partner with service manager in planning, assigning, and directing work
• Assist service team to execute maintenance on time and repairs within performance standards.
• Assist market team with replacement and retrofit projects

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 8+ years practical working experience in the HVAC Industry
• Valid Driver’s license
• Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
• Must be able to stand, crawl, sit, squat of extended period of times

Preferred Qualifications

• This role may also require passing examination regarding the abilities and know-how of Building Trades Journeyman, conducted by an Examining Board
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Experience in dealing with a number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of many different disciplines.
• Experience with Automated Logic and Phoenix software to include: WebCtrl, SiteBuilder, ViewBuilder, LogicBuilder, InterOp 3.02, Alert, Draw, EDB, Eikon, Supervision, and Accel Works.
