Forklift Operator

Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred. 


• Minimum of three years or more in forklift experience preferred. 


• Forklift Certified preferred.
  


• CDL preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Promotes, executes, and adheres to the company’s health, safety, and environmental program.

• Performs daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.


• Conducts pre-operational checks on equipment, and clean, lubricate and refill the equipment as necessary.


• Maneuvers forklift into loading or unloading positions and follow signals from loading crew as needed.


• Ensures a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance.


• Performs routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the equipment.


• Performs other construction duties or task as required based on company’s needs.
