Forklift Operator

In this position, you will be responsible for controlling our finished goods inventory, handling shipping and receiving and keeping our yard organized and moving. The work environment is fast-paced. The ability to perform all tasks in a safe, proficient manner, while understanding the importance of maintaining a busy and organized outdoor landscape and storage yard will be developed.
Whether it's a homeowner needing landscape materials, a landscape company or contractor, you will help our customers get the materials to make their project a success.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts in a safe and responsible manner that abides by all company procedures and OSHA standards
- Assist in moving, categorizing, and maintaining an organized flow of finished concrete products for inventory and shipment.

- Move other raw material and finished goods throughout the yard
- Maintain equipment through daily inspections and cleanliness
- Transport and stack pallets of products to proper cells
- Load and unload trucks for delivery and shipping
- Maintain and have an eye for organization
- Take care to keep yard clear of obstructions and hazards
- Learn and perform other production related duties as needed
Education and Experience
Preferred experience includes a minimum of 1 year of forklift driving, experience working in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements include being on your feet for long periods and being able to lift objects in excess of 50 lbs. A Valid driver’s license, and previous experience in a manufacturing or construction setting is a bonus.
