Updike Distribution Logistics is seeking an experienced and dependable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Candidates must have hands-on experience operating sit-down forklifts, single/double pallet forklifts, and reach trucks.
Safely operate sit-down, single/double pallet, and reach truck forklifts.
Load, unload, move, and stage freight throughout the warehouse.
Accurately pick, organize, and prepare products for shipment.
Assist with receiving, inventory management, and warehouse organization.
Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns.
Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating standards.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Work collaboratively with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet daily productivity goals.
Required experience operating sit-down, single/double pallet, and reach truck forklifts.
Previous warehouse or distribution center experience required.
Ability to safely and efficiently move freight in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials as needed.
Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
