Forklift Operator - 2nd shift

The Warehouse/Forklift Operator is responsible for the proper movement of materials throughout the manufacturing plant. The position’s top priority is to support production operations by accurately transferring raw materials to the lines, receiving finished goods to storage, as well as loading and unloading trucks. This is a full-time position, with scheduled OT available, that reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operates forklift to stage raw materials and packaging
  • To storage following 1st shift production completion
  • To staging area prior to 3rd shift production start up
• Sorts and places products in the warehouse according to FIFO
• Skillfully operate forklift in high racking locations to place finished goods and raw materials 
• Accurately pick and stage orders for the next day outbound shipment
• Unload trailers as needed
• Transfers items to and from purchase orders, shop orders, and customer orders using hand scanner

Pay:

• $19.00/hour starting wage

Hours:

• 2nd shift: 2pm-10:30pm Monday-Friday

• 1+ years of relevant forklift experience      required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Self-starter & motivated - Must be able to work independently
• Must have a high level of dependability and good attendance

• Experience with RF equipment preferred
